FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS—AND OUR ANSWERS

Q: You say that you have dedicated, responsive customer service policies. Exactly what does this mean?

A: First and foremost, it means that if you have a question or a problem that you need to discuss, you will get a fast response and the answer or solution that you are seeking. It also means that we have an open mind about problems. If there is any reasonable way to accommodate a customer, we are always willing to discuss the problem fully and even compromise if possible. Your e-mails and telephone calls will never get lost in the shuffle; you can expect a speedy reply.

Q: Most Internet buyers of precious metals make claims and promises very similar to yours. How can I be sure that Cash for Gold Co will stand behind the promises they make?

A: Consider the facts as evidenced by the report about our company on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website. We have an A- rating and absolutely no recorded complaints from any former sellers. We are very proud of this. When you earn this kind of rating from the BBB, it’s because you stood behind your claims and promises and your customers were satisfied.

Q: Does Cash for Gold Co have any retail locations where I can take my gold and sell it on the spot? Many of us are very reluctant these days to send in our property only to be told it was ‘lost in the mail’ and not covered by adequate insurance.

A. No, we are only an Internet buyer. We don’t have any retail store locations. We certainly do understand your concerns. Any person who desires to sell their gold, platinum or silver property to an Internet buyer should always check the company out before they send in anything. We have stressed this in many press releases and even written articles giving that advice. The key things to check are: (1)-Whether the buyer has many recorded complaints on the BBB website and how much pre-paid insurance coverage they offer for their mailers. The latter should always be up to $1,000 no matter how you ship. You should also expect a guarantee that if you don’t accept the payout offered, you will have all the property you sent-in returned to you.

Q: If my wife is not happy with the cash amount you offer for her jewelry, is there any chance you might make a better offer?

A: Not as a rule. However, there have been exceptions when we felt we may have miscalculated the amount or if our cost of doing business dropped somewhat and lowered our overhead. We certainly don’t object to her asking for reconsideration on our offer, but we are usually quite accurate the first time.
